Overall, I love the Cyborg series from O'Connor. I can't get enough of the Cyborg's constant and amusing attempts at seduction. I would have rated this book higher if the heroine had been depicted with a stronger background - she came across as too sad/victim with the unhappy home and being broke. I think if she had some demonstrable skills of her own (great fighter, intelligence, artist whatever, but not just sexual attraction) then I would have been more interested in her as a character.

The story too could have been more interesting if there was a more further developed part of the story when she arrived on the Cyborg planet. I think it would have been hilarious if there had been descriptions of dates or at courting encounters with the other cyborgs other than just the proliferation of the chocolates and flowers. I did like that that there were scenes with the Cyborgs from the Cyborg Nation book - that was cute.

O'Connor is very reliable for the sci-fi romance genre - often very imaginative world building. It would be nice if her female characters were more self-sufficient, in control of the situation, with skill sets that could be an asset to the Cyborg world (Bronte from Cyborg Nation was the best for me). I think I've loved every male hero the author has depicted.

To sum it up I am a real fan of this author's overall work. Will continue to look for books in this series as well as others.

Good story, it went with the rest nof the series. You really need to have read them in order.

The formatting of the story is like a magazine article. It can NOT be searched by page or chapter, which was very frustrating. If you buy this book be sure to highlight the first page so you can get back to it after you finish reading.
I enjoyed this book very much. I found myself laughing out loud several times even though I have read several times. The ending left the storyline open for a continuation and I would love to see that happen.
Continuation of a previous book & I was dying to read it, so I enjoyed it. Can be read separately with no loss of story-line.
I liked this book, but not as much as Cyborg Nation. There was romance and good elements in this book, but I just feel that to fall in love with 4 guys in a matter of four weeks when they are totally clueless when it comes to wooing a woman just seems a bit rushed and fake. I can certainly feel their attempts, however feeble and weak at trying to win her heart but I don't think it was that strong. If you're looking for strong emotions in addition to steamy sex, I think this one fell a little short. I'm merely fond of the men in this book and the sex was ok.

I very much enjoyed this book. The only part I didn't like was the anal sex. Other than that it is a book worth reading. It could have used some proof reading.
Four stars because of the length. $7.50 for less than 300 pages, also if this was purchased at the recycled/used book store it would have been half the cost. As for the story line, great read.!!!!! The main characters made my heart go Pitter-patter. Also I kept hoping for more in this story line.
I always enjoy reading Ms. O'Connor's work. I just wish publishers would remember that the original idea behind e-readers was to cut down the high cost of producing books. Thus making more books available and at a smaller cost.
