WOW! That is the best descriptor for THE MOB BOSS series. Just WOW! It has the requisite amount of very hot sex, but it has lots of action and adventure besides. The characters are well-defined and complex. The plot is well-organized and never sluggish. I literally couldn't put it down. My husband got tired of me saying, "Not right now, I'm reading."
I don't want to talk about the story, as I hate to see SPOILERS in reviews, so I will just say, it is well worth reading! This was my first exposure to Michelle St. James's books, and it won't be my last, for sure!

Can I just say this kept me in my toes wondering what would happened next . Love the chemistry between characters omg the Love making was fire each time , I would so recommend this trilogy it is amazing !!!
Very few editing issues which are distracting. The story is told in three books. It has intense sections with danger and emotion. I couldn't wait to get through some sections but it also has some areas that lag and could have probably been a little shorter. Good, interesting read though.
This was a very good book. I liked it all the way through and I felt it was probably a close approximation of the life. It was hard on all of them not to know who you could trust.......your Father, your lover, yourself. I have just ordered the set on the strength of the first one. Talk about an alpha anti-hero.....lol I want him on my side!
Enjoyed this series a little surprised at the ending. The second and third book did not display the power of the first novel in the series. Maybe I am becoming overloaded by alpha mafia bosses. Nico was scary exciting to start. Angel was consistently doubting at the beginning but became strong and focused when Nico was buried deciding to 'clean house' in her father's Boston mob.
A love story that is full of angst, drama, intrigue and suspense. I love the development of Nico and Angel's relationship and how their passionate bond and connection was allowed to grow. The storyline was complex, full of twists and turns and kept you fully engaged in the story. The characters were well developed,interesting and enhanced the storyline. In the end after all of the life changes and sacrifices Nico and Angel finally got their HEA. I loved this series and look forward to reading the other characters story.
This series was one of the best i have ever read regarding the Italian Mafia. Nico Vitale tried to change the thinking of the way things were done with the Mafia under the old school ways. He took a lot of flack when trying to change things for the better. Luca was a friend and an underboss to him, best friends also. He and Nico kidnapped Carlo Rossi's daughterAngelica in the hopes of brokering a truce. After awhile the chemistry between Nico and Angelica becomes evident causing more problems. Recommend!
St. James definitely didn't disappoint with this series. Nico and Angelica are two characters you don't want to miss. I originally just had the first book and couldn't put it down. Realizing it was a three book series and that it was sold as a box set, bought it. Glad, I did it. She kept you hooked in this story, wanting to know what happened next and then wrapped it up nicely at the end. But it's intense and suspenseful throughout. Definitely a recommended read!
