Familiar characters facing familiar dangers but in a different setting. Alamo survives to find a way to search for escape from the Andromeda galaxy.
I haven't always rated each book in this series like I should. I've always been too eager to read the next book. Once you have read 24 issues of a series, you've shown you are a solid fan of that series. This has been another excellent addition to a story I love, and I hope they continue forever.
While I would like to see more variety, perhaps some development of the precursor races etc...this is a decent star travel naval series. Well edited, a bit more science would be nice but enough there to be plausible. I like the continuity of characters throughout, even when you don't know which will be rubbed out next book. Overall a fun read which I've set down n picked back up more than once.
First of all I enjoyed the character development as I've read these books I've watch the characters grow and change I like the relationship with the new characters Clark Harper Salazar. What I do not like is that the Alamo is always fighting from behind, and all these books the Alamo seems to be jammed they can't talk to each other what good is having a computer weapons officer who can't crack through the enemy encryption. Sometimes you want the protagonist to have better weapons, better equipment, and come out on top with less injury to the people in their crew. I hope the author changes some of these issues in the next books I will continue to read them because I find the story very enjoyable. I think anybody who likes space come back and science fiction would e interested in reading them I gave it only three stars because of the issues that I find that continue to play these books.
Great saga continues to keep you interested as each installment unfolds. Highly recommend all the previous books as well as the side stories.
Thanks Richard for leaving out all the head shaking. Now I can get back to enjoying the story. Great characters, and lots of action. I will read the rest as you publish them. Maybe they go back and capture Waldheim for Deadeye to Captain. That would be cool.
Another action packed suspense filled episode in the Battle cruiser Alamo series. I look forward to the next book and chapter.
